Medical-grade graduated compression for travel, nurses, pregnancy, post-surgical recovery, and varicose vein discomfort. Closed-toe, knee-high.
Ovena 20-30 mmHg graduated compression socks support healthy circulation and venous return for travel, long shifts on your feet, pregnancy, post-surgical recovery, varicose veins, and mild edema. The graduated knit applies firmest pressure at the ankle and eases up the calf, helping the calf-muscle pump move blood back toward the heart and reducing end-of-day swelling and leg fatigue.

Choosing a compression level
Why 20-30 mmHg.
Compression is sold by number, not by brand. Tap a class.
Ovena makes 20-30
The level those studies used — and the strongest you can buy without a fitting.

Find your size
Two measurements. That's it.
Compression is sized by the leg, not the foot. Set your ankle at its narrowest and your calf at its widest, and the field below places you on the Ovena chart.
- Wrap a piece of string around your ankle, then pinch where it meets.
- Pull the loop taut into a doubled strand — one bend, no folding.
- Lay it along the bar below and read the number at the end.
First, match the bar to a bank card so the ruler is true to your screen.
The bar is printed in circumference, so the doubling is already in the numbers. Nothing to multiply.

Compression stockings and travel-related DVT risk in airline passengers
The review pooled 12 randomized trials in 2,918 air travelers. In the nine trials that put stockings on both legs, 2,637 participants had follow-up data: symptomless DVT was found in 3 who wore graduated compression and 47 who did not (odds ratio 0.10, 95% CI 0.04-0.25; high-certainty evidence).

Compression stockings vs Kinesio taping in early chronic venous disease
Over four weeks in 62 patients with early chronic venous disease, compression stockings reduced pain and leg circumference more than Kinesio taping.
Consensus · 2018 · Phlebology
International consensus on when to use medical compression stockings
An international expert panel recommends compression to relieve venous symptoms and prevent travel- and work-related leg swelling (Grade 1B), and suggests it during long-distance travel for travelers at raised DVT risk (Grade 2B).
